Grouping multiple "nodes" in group nodes in flow.Writing back to database? Forget about it :( Writeback options - my mentors told me that data analytics tools don't have writeback option, but data preparation tools would need to.Confusing user interface - sometimes I get lost in UI of Tableau Prep to make some simple tasks and this can hurt my feeling toward this product.I'm sure that Tableau will patch ill soon :) Crazy behaviour and slowness of product make people crazy. Bugs and unexpected behaviour - first version of every software has bugs. Now you can import data extracts (TDE and Hyper) and you can also export to CSV (Excel option would be cool though)! Datasources options - there is no ugly side of connection to databases like in other data preparation tools.Out of the box solution - like in other Tableau Software solution there is no software dependency and installation is straightforward. This is nice way to make people love Tableau Prep, like they used with Tableau Desktop in previous years. It's "free" - Tableau Prep comes in Creators licence options (with Tableau Desktop and Server/Online) for only 70$ per month.Visual approach to data preparation - this approach is new in this market and it's nice to see something fresh.Well, Tableau Prep is not perfect product and there are alot stuff I like about it and also alot of stuff I don't like. You probably expected this kind of answer since if you read first piece of my article then you concluded that I'm Tableau person. For few months I was beta testing Maestro in detail and this is my opinion about Maestro/Prep: I really like new paradigm of visual data preparation! Day I get an email about beta version of Project Maestro, there was no happier person than me.
